  • — Feeling Lucky

As many of you know, I haven't lived in any one place for very long since I was 18. Passing the 3 year mark here in Exeter, NH had me longing for a change. Knowing we are not moving any time soon I needed to find something new and exciting. I made an effort and reached out to a local Arts Organization called Main Street Art. Located in Newfields just down the road from me, I found a gem.

This Fall I am teaching three classes. The first...

  • — And so the bagels...

As a creative type I tend to recreate the wheel instead of trusting the original directions. After our first attempt at bagels I decided to change a few steps. Instead of rolling the dough into a snake and forming a ring I formed a pancake, poked a hole and swung the dough around my finger. It was rather fun and the vote is to keep it. And even worse, my mailing list program doesn't seem to like me these days. It stopped letting links work a long time ago, forcing people to cut and paste. How Neanderthal! But I'm...

  • — We've Been Nominated for a Poppy

Now this is cute. My children call one of their grandfathers "Poppy". Isn't it fitting that my jewelry shop So Claudia! I run with my daughter was nominated for a Poppy award? Even if the darling factor doesn't get you, the blog will. Here is the link to vote for our shop and while you are there explore Poppytalk. It's a blog you will thank me for recommending.
