Black and white are not my favorite colors to work in stained glass, but add a little orange and look what you get. Halloween. I just love Halloween and I have a couple of craft shows coming up this fall so what better items to add. I was so happy once the creative juice started to flow. Here are a couple of my newest designs.
I am so excited about these two pieces. The color is awesome and I'm starting to play around with new findings for the earrings. I really love how these turned out. I also found a way to add a magnetic clasp to this bracelet. I hate trying to fumble with a clasp or call someone to help me. This is way better.
of course I had to make them out of glass. I loved the way Timmy the Turtle turned out, so I had to create a whole line of cutsie animals. These really make me smile and I have such fun making them. They have been really great sellers for me at the art and craft fairs. Check them out in my Etsy Store
Well, I have been really busy the last couple of days. My kiln has been going non stop and I am really happy with my new creations. I just finished listing a couple of new fused glass jewelry items in my Etsy store. I have been in a mod mood as you can tell by my lastest pieces.
Right now this is one of my most popular stained glass suncatchers. This is timmy the shy turtle. He measures 3" x 3 1/2". I recently had a custom order to make a large one, he measured 12" x 16" and was adorable.
